Laboratory Manager (Full-time)
You will work as an integral part of the research institute, overseeing the research operations, as well as taking on a range of administrative duties, including but not limited to, research facility management, safety, budgeting and procurement matters and carrying out specific projects.
◙ Work with the senior management, conduct overall laboratory planning, management, laboratory safety and security and regulatory compliance
◙ Ensure smooth laboratory operations, liaise with finance department and PIs for timely procurement of equipment and relevant research supplies
◙ Oversee maintenance and repairs of common shared research equipment and facilities as well as oversee maintenance vendors
◙ Organize and provide basic safety training to staff, students and users of the lab as needed
◙ Assist in laboratory commissioning and decommissioning
◙ Assist in asset management of equipment under the responsibility of BIGHEART
◙ Other ad hoc duties which may be assigned
◙ At least a Master’s Degree in life sciences, engineering or their equivalent from a reputable university
◙ Have at least three years’ working experience in laboratory management
◙ Able to communicate well and convey information clearly
◙ A good team player
◙ Inquisitive and have initiative in exploring new technology
◙ Ability to speak and write well in English

Research Fellow: Cyber-Physical Systems
